Letter from the President |
Dear members and friends,
Soccer fans - maybe next
time!
Our thanks to all who joined
us in encouraging the World
Cup to select Oakland for
the 2018 event! As I
understand it, Seattle, Los
Angeles and San Diego were
the West Coast cities among
the 18 finalists selected.
Let this not deter us from
reaching for future events!
On Monday, January 18 we
celebrate the life of Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr. In
his memory may we only judge
an individual by the content
of one's character!
Read below for many local
celebrations.
God Bless America!
