The Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce
is a member-driven and professionally staffed nonprofit
association of businesspeople committed to improving the
economic climate and quality of life in the Oakland metropolitan
area. As a private association, the Chamber is supported solely
by its members and membership investments, contributions, and
contacts.
The Chamber is proud of the many nonprofit organizations,
associations, and community groups who are contributing good
things to the city of Oakland and the region.

Nonprofit
members are eligible for special discounted pricing for selected
Chamber member benefits (i.e. Chamber mailing labels and mass
email communications to members).
The Chamber
sends a monthly update of nonprofit member events to all Chamber
members via email.

Nonprofit
members have a unique opportunity to access Fortune 500
companies, corporations, and large or small businesses to assist
with their fundraising events and sponsorship support through
networking with Chamber members, by participating on committees,
attending events, and outreach to individuals.

The Nonprofit
Roundtable committee provides a supportive and collaborative
environment for nonprofit members to share information about
their organization, learn new skills to improve practices and
obtain resources to maximize their Chamber membership, and
increase their visibility in our community.
Nonprofit member-to-member networking helps organizations
build partnerships and alliances with other nonprofit members.
