INSIDE OAKLAND BREAKFASTS
Held the fourth Friday of every month from 8:30 to 10 a.m. These monthly events feature civic and business leaders who impact life and work in Oakland. Free for Members, $15 Non-members.
#OAKPROUD HAPPY HOUR
Held the fourth Thursday most every month from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at a variety member locations around The Town. A great way to get a feel for the Chamber and its member businesses! Free for Chamber members, $15 for non-members. Please check details and RSVP via the Chamber Calendar for each event.
#OAKPROUD SMALL BUSINESS POWER HOUR
Power up your small business or nonprofit through this popular series of member-driven programming. The Small Business Power Hour holds a free, one hour workshop the third Thursday of each month. Peer facilitators are Chamber members serving as SMEs (subject matter experts) who share specialized knowledge in areas that benefit our small business community. Past Power Hours have provided attendees a close-up look at funding startups and early stage companies, with an overview of the regional startup/early stage business funding ecosystem directed towards women entrepreneurs ("For Women Only," courtesy of Working Solutions); "Naked & Afraid: How to Survive in the insecure Cyberworld," with Oakland Managed IT and Cyber Security, where participants learned about the steep cost of recovering from security breaches, and steps to take to help mitigate any future hacks, as well as a look at the "Dark Web"; and a tutorial on how to navigate some of the Internet's perplexing social media and their fickle algorithms, with Tim Thai, Tim Thai Internet Marketing. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FORUM
Held the second Wednesday of every month from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Chamber members discuss current issues and projects shaping the future of the city. Free of charge for members, $15 non-members.

ANNUAL MEETING & CHAMBER AWARDS LUNCHEON
